However, you can change things around to make the DE look completely different from Windows.

The developers are quite active in the forum, too, and often reply to posts there.

I think Plasma is the default desktop environment now, but I still use Trinity because it was the only DE in older versions and I’m so used to it.

What’s the problem?

For what it’s worth, Q4OS was easy to set up and has been my daily driver since late 2018.

I felt deceived when Microsoft added ODF file support, only for formatting to still break when exporting/importing from another suite.

Given that it’s M$, I suspect this isn’t a bug, but a feature.

Yes, my easy to setup and use Debian-based daily driver, Q4OS.

Also have a look at SoftMaker FreeOffice. The older 32-bit versions have worked well for me in the past.

Debian’s choice to refer to the whole x86-32 line as i386 has always been a weird historical quirk.

It’s all a matter of personal preference. I use Firefox ESR because it tends to be more stable and less bleeding edge vs. regular Firefox, plus more privacy-oriented vs. the others.

In earlier Q4OS versions Trinity was the only desktop environment. I still run it even though there’s plenty of power on hand to run the others. It just works.
