Bitwig is by far the best option on linux rn. Ardour is too barebones and focused on recording rather than midi
bandcamp and piracy are still the main routes. try to look at the artist’s soundcloud too for links to what they use. some genres (like trance for me) still heavily use soundcloud

It also depends. I am listening to a very specific niche that will post on spotify but not youtube (Freeform trance) The biggest catalog for that style is Soundcloud go. But definetly not tidal
