You physically cannot download files to a browser. A browser is a piece of software. Downloads are stored on your local storage device.

Sometimes there’s an obscure item I need that I can’t find anywhere else. That’s what I usually buy on Amazon. Other times it’s cheap Chineseum stuff that I want to be able to return without hassle or get refunded if I never receive the item.

But yeah, generally I try to buy directly from the seller, and especially try to buy locally if I can.

Years and years ago, they discovered that Google was still tracking your location, even with location disabled. That’s because Google created a surveillance network using your friends’ phones. Your friends’ phones would find local WiFi connections, and report them back to Google, along with associated GPS data. Then Google used this to make a sort of WiFi map. So now Google can tell where you are without ever getting any actual “location data”.
