I liked and used Deezer until they rebranded. I can’t get over the new look. Switched over to Tidal

Have you looked into OnlyOffice. Nice office suite that saves in MS file extensions. Use it all the tjme
Interesting. Just tested this on the publicly o one I use and typed in “President Biden, White house”. Sure enough it produced pictures of him standing within the White House but none of them had his face being displaying correctly. Either messed up, blurred out or just looked horrifying.
I mean, can’t you do this with any AI?
Been using /e/OS on a OnePlus 6T for the last ~2 years and love it. The built-in ad tracker blocker works well. GoS works for the best part and if it doesnt, heading over to the website usually works.
Rocking a T480 hackintosh over here.
New Outlook is just the old Windows Mail application reskinned. The fact that you can have both Outlook and NEW Outlook installed at the same time is weird. Working in IT, its one thing I check when working with end users.
Been running /e/os on Oneplus 6T and it’s been great. Built in tracker blocker is nice. Maybe a possible alternative to try
Project /e/OS (Custom Android Rom) maintains their own version built into the Rom. Funny how I didnt know this and when I downloaded QKSMS just now, I was like “This looks oddly familiar”

No particular reason, honestly. Ran Manjaro for ~4 years and just wanted something new. A lot of trial and error installing and just wanted a fresh start with the additional knowledge that I had gained over the years.
Same similar story but was running Manjaro beforehand. Liking EndeavourOS so for as well!
Did have a Grub issue but after a day of what I call “constructive troubleshooting / learning”, was able to rescue my installation.
Just got to have the drive to learn sometimes
I would rather switch to Linux then miss playing two games.(I understand there’s more games that don’t work under Linux, but you understand my point). Also theres plenty of games out there.
But that’s just me.
Haven’t heard about the game “Hexen” in years!!!
Not trying to be rude here, but it does say “by EFF technologists” when installing the extension. Also their welcome page for the extension after installing it, states “” A project of the EFF".
I hope these things are read beforehand and just not skipped, ignored or just installed quickly before taking some time to look around / researched.
Would like to see some sources if you got them. Currently use /e/os and would like to do more research.
What’s wrong with just using the web for apps that don’t work. Most sites these days are designed for mobile screens nowadays. I typically use the web for my bank and there’s no issues. Just got to know your password. Same thing for Facebook.
I use /e/is and I like it. Having a built in tracker blocker is nice.
Agreed. Also from a Tech support POV, there is no “standard” OS and troubleshooting the vast different environments would be a pain. With Windows, you have a standard layout, with couple different versions - Home / Pro / Enterprise. With linux, you have different syntax, differnt DE’s, etc. Still use Linux at home / work but i am interested in it. Got to have that motivation to do so.
Same thing with moving to Lemmy, gotta have that motivation to make the change.
Just switched to EndeavourOS about a week ago from Manjaro and been liking it so far.
Biggest reason for the change was my manjaro install was getting cluttered, and moving over to a new distro ( taking all my previous knowledgement with it) has been a blessing.
Beforehand, my Manjaro install was EFI, whereas my Windows 11 drive ( yes I know) was UEFI so switching on boot was an issue. Now both are on UEFI and show up within Grub.
Endeavor OS has bluetooth turned off by default. Thought there was an issue but nope.
So from no issues with updating, even with AUR turned on.
I just like starting fresh and setting things up with all my previous knowledge.
Yup!
I have switched from Google Maps to Here we go for years now and been loving it
Just installed via Octopi. Nice design
