You could use things like StartAllBack to bring back the “classic” taskbar and start menu (Windows 7 style) There’s Open Shell and Start 11 too, I don’t use them but they’re good afaik.
A disk is shown as a bar, each partition is 1 segment of the bar, if your Windows partition is located before your Linux one you would have to move the partition to the left of the bar after reducing the Windows one, because the partitions can only be extended to the right, so it will need a full partition moving to the left to get all of the newly empty space available, and then after moving you just expand the Fedora one.
Wow, beautiful, it looks like a portal to heaven.
Yeah, you can use Open source roms.
Why being against freedom? Allowing ROMs and root won’t affect you if you don’t want to use them.
No need to be unpleasant too.
They don’t have to support it 10 years, but they shouldn’t prevent people to keep their phones updated themselves with custom ROMs.
Well it’s better but it’s still not enough imo.
People shouldn’t be left behind on security just because they don’t have the latest phone, 4 years isn’t long at all.
Now phones are powerful enough to last years, and could last even longer with replaceable batteries. This artificial limitation is anti-customer.
So yeah at least there should be an way to root and install custom ROMs, they may not want to support phones longer officially but they shouldn’t limit the user if they want to do it themselves.
Yeah, I’m really tired of this.
We should be able to root and install any OS on our phones like we can do on PC.
I don’t use root or custom ROMs on my phone anymore but this is something that should always be possible.
I won’t really call that a win,
Reddit lost the trust of many users, a non insignificant part of contributors and moderators left, the enshittification of the platform is not going to stop but they lost a big part of what made Reddit great. They damaged their image and popularity.
It’s like saying Elon won by trashing Twitter. Sure he does what he wants with it but making your platform less desirable sure isn’t a win for the platform.
Phages seems like a good alternative.
Well StartAllBack brings back the Windows 7 style taskbar with all of its functions, Microsoft may add some functionalities but don’t expect them to do it quickly or at all.
