That must have been terribly satisfying.
I’m sure the workbook still exists somewhere, though, ‘just in case’. And someone argued that the new way is much less accessible than the workbook.

Decades of speed increases in hardware, yet software is slower than ever because we’re wasting it on JavaScript.
But colored folders!
I’d love that, too. Immich has more fine grained user control on their timeline, though.
Centralized storage of pirated content is a problem. You want p2p to continue, otherwise it’s suddenly very easy to deprive all of those streaming sites of content.
I’m so sad that the meme deteriorated. The original Hooty McOwlface was more complex, but the hivemind made it stupid. Boaty McBoatface should have been e. g. Horny McBoatface.
That’s how you recognize bullshit. If there was a kernel of truth worth protecting the offending posts would be removed.
The internet archive archive. Takes snapshots of the entire archive. It’s unfathomably huge.
Come to think of it, I only know two .su domains and they’re pretty great…
I do the same, but it’s very clear that when people talk about “a VPN” they’re referring to a commercial cloud hosted product.

That’s the reason I think matrix lights should be outlawed. They allow plausible deniability for the driver. “oh sorry, is my matrix broken?” No, it never worked to begin with; bikes and pedestrians are blinded. Drivers on the opposite lane are blinded if there’s a divider between sensor and lamp. You’re illuminating the town like breaking dawn because your matrix doesn’t care about sleep, either!
The problem is non-savvy people classifying connecting a Bluetooth or wifi as complicated.
Also it’s just broken. Try to add an IP without gateway and it won’t let you.
There once was a time when I would have recommended VMWare, since Workstation is now free for personal use and HyperV is missing crucial direct hardware throughput, but… It’s shit now. Doesn’t work properly under W11.
Why does every tech company seem to have reached the ‘collapse’ part of enshittification simultaneously? Couldn’t they have staggered it a little?
Intel ME is a whole thing, too.
