No, they’ll just license it to all the other car makers.

Ah yes, I’m sure this crackdown will have the result of ending piracy forever.
Trying to expand their market to the Moon and Mars.
I just made a similar comment above but you’re in an abusive relationship. MS isn’t going to come to their senses and change paths. You can delay things by using powertoys, but they’ll be back to abuse you again. Use this time to plan an exit strategy and leave.
ShutUp10 is the equivalent of being in an abusive relationship and telling yourself “it’ll be okay if I just don’t upset them and stay out of their way”. You know it’ll happen again. You’re just in denial and kicking the ball down the road a bit until they do it again. Use it to buy yourself time to make a plan to get out of the relationship. The sooner you leave, the better off you’ll be.
I jumped in with both feet this winter. I’d finally had enough of MS’s bullshit and couldn’t bear to use Win11. I built a new system and installed Mint and I’m loving it. I’ve only had very minor issues with the system itself or with gaming on Steam or Heroic.
What did you do to that poor lemming, you creepy bastard!
Google has been enshitifying for a while now and I stopped using it because Bing gave me more relevant results. Apparently MS is trying to reverse that though.
Men are from Mars. Women are from Venus. But who the fuck knows what planet trans people are from?!
The AI revolution already happened. We’ve seen what it can do, and it won’t expand much more.
That’s like seeing a basic electronic calculator in the 60s and saying that computing won’t expand much more. Full-AI isn’t here yet, but it’s coming, and it will far exceed everything that we have right now.
I’d buy scalp tickets to watch that.
Just look at how bad the car industry is now. Your car spies on EVERYTHING.
Windows can still get a lot worse before we begin to see an improvement.
Good point. I always install Firefox immediately and change it.
Exactly. Making Edge my default browser is opt-in too, but that doesn’t stop them from bugging me about it regularly or switching it any time they think they can.
I’m loving Linux Mint since I switched. It’s nice to have an operating system that isn’t trying to subvert my choices every day.
As a curious Android user this comment is useless to me
The 80s are back! Sweatbands for everyone!
And you had to pay a “convenience” fee for the privilege too.
not existentially fatal.
“To turn on the lights in a dark room, begin by bombarding uranium with neutrons”
Why would you let that ruin all of space exploration for you? He’s a dick. I don’t give a crap about his company. But exploring the solar system is still absolutely amazing.
I’ve got 22 cats already, but I need to check my email!
