It’s also great to live in Switzerland, but not everybody is doing it.
I could not think of …
Try harder, or get some help … /s
I have understood your (and OP’s) intention very well. You want people to take sides in this war, and you are trying to tell me which side is the right one, and which side is the wrong one.
But I refuse to take sides. My side is the neutral one.
And so I made a neutral statement.
Technology is used in a war.
Even on both sides.
No news so far.
I think that this depends heavily on the success of that enterprise.
I am pretty sure that they start (when / if they start) with a very high number of vehicles in a city.
A robotaxi would have much higher utilisation
You could call this “hope”.
Or “wet dream”.
Robotaxis are NOT going to reduce the number of cars that are filling up the streets and parking spaces.
They are replacing some of the traditional traffic while they carry passengers, and then they add more traffic when going home (or searching for a parking lot, or doing idle circles) after the ride, and when coming for the next passenger.
Oh. So “unveiling” doesn’t mean they have something. Just the “2 years” promise is repeated for the N’th time ;-)
And their law is so weak that such abuse can prevail?
Does it use LIDAR (finally), or is he still too cheap to do it right?
Take care of a good power supply to the Pi and to that flasher device.
From my experience, it often fails if you simply use power from USB. Then I connect a real power supply directly to the small device and it all works.
Uber screwing their own drivers.
Now if that isn’t some news!

people think of […] not the latency of that transmission.
And when that latency goes up from a few millis (from google to you) to, let’s say, 10 minutes (from mars to earth), then they would start to notice it :)
Right.
They keep reiterating “faster, faster”. But the discussion is “laser” vs. “radio”.
Surprise: both travel at the speed of light. Both are the same speed.
Hmmm.
Are they afraid of having to explain “bandwidth”?
O.m.g LOL
The SD card is broken, but not totally dead yet.
So, decide now if you want to try and rescue some files from it, then DO NOT USE IT anymore until the real data recovery operation starts. No further tries to boot, no fsck etc.
Have you tried reading the manual?
structure their debts in such a way that certain entities can be bankrupted without impacting the actual assets.
I can’t imagine how this isn’t fraud
There’s a lib/tool called exiftool iirc. It can be used from the commandline.
