Defedding from threads always seems strange to me. Everyone says it’s to protect your data from meta. But they can already get your data. Everything on the fediverse is public. They already have your data.
The conversation should be “it barely affects us like the media says and it should take a backbench to dealing with the cost of living and the lack of taxation of the rich”
Doesn’t pinned apps on the taskbar work for that same use case? I’ve just used that instead since Windows 7

Only issue is lack of V Sync for 2d games and the desktop. Which is why it would’ve been nice for Linux to be able to run the Sims 1
I’ve used StartAllBack to get the start menu exactly how I want it.
But it changes position depending on the amount of apps open
I play games that don’t play well with Linux. Sims 1 & 2 are just straight up broken.
So my Linux PC is actually my WinXP retro gaming PC but Linux is dualbooted for when I want to do more modern stuff on it.
I would love a good qwerty phone. They’ve just been making consistently shitty ones. Just give me one in the end form factor as the BB Curve and we’re golden. I don’t want to have a massive slab of a phone just to have a keyboard.
What was wrong with SCART? only thing I can think of is its bulkiness.
I think it was rees mogg who admitted it was to do just that but he thought it has/will bite them in the arse
