The UI for the Xbox app is rudimentary and a bit janky, but the performance is undeniably better than Plex. I have Plex and Jellyfin on the same machine, serving the same content, and Plex stutters often. It is especially bad when using subtitles. Jellyfin has no such issues.

I second Mint and I would add Pop!_OS by computer seller System76. They are both based on Ubuntu/Debian soif you ever need guides or downloads, anything for Ubuntu or Debian will work on Mint and Pop!_OS.

What I see is the developer who’s left after multiple rounds of cost cutting layoffs and subsequent exodus of anyone qualified, that knows they are only there because they are willing to work for the least amount of money, and are willing to endure abuse from their sadistic manager, not knowing how to systematically debug the mountain of accumulated issues, and keeps trying random stuff hoping that anything will somehow work.
