Pretty fast, from my understanding, because you’re pumping water through a membrane, and the pumps can be turned on and off quite fast.
The maintenance costs are also quite high though, from my understanding.

Yes, there are Win 10 machines still being sold, and because they aren’t eligible to upgrade to 11, they’re dirt cheap. I suspect this is the main driver behind Win 10 growing market share.
There’s something hilarious about the author’s disappointment to find out they’re British, and nothing else.
Can’t say I blame them though.
I mean, we have a competition where we judge people on their looks, and then expect them to also be smart.
Eh, young women have been lusting after fictional characters like Mr Darcy, likely for as long as we’ve had literature.
These fictional characters can talk back, but it’s not really anything new.
Not really, because my computer has an HDMI port.
I’m not using a dongle for something I use daily like that.
Definitely, having strong competition is what keeps companies honest.
Bkuesky was started by the former owners of Twitter.
Homie, the non profit club we’re renting a room from isn’t going to buy a new projector just because I think HDMI is beneath my dignity.
Projectors have a long lifespan, and don’t tend to be replaced until they actually fail.
Besides, HDMI can transfer up to 48 gigabit/sec, so it’s actually faster than anything but the very latest standard of USB.
I recently bought a refurbished laptop, and a large part of the reason I got it was for presentations, HDMI was a must have feature for me.
I imagine any enterprise laptop would be similar, if you can’t hook it up to the projector, why bother?
I mean, there’s a reason there are multiple models of laptop you can buy.
If I’m carrying my laptop around the house, I’m carrying just the laptop, not any peripherals, whereas the dongle is in the laptop bag or on my desk.
And I quite like being able to carry my laptop around with one hand.
Yep. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.
Because I don’t want a chonky boi laptop to carry around.
Of course it will weigh more, those ports and the boards to drive them weigh something.
Because one of them is actively promoting and favouring viewpoints many people find abhorrent.
The fact it’s owned by a billionaire isn’t the major concern for most people.
A lot of people give presentations or connect their laptop to a TV, I don’t think taking out the HDMI port would go down well at all.
Yeah, that can stay too.
Yeah, you’re right. Also, how bad Windows 11 is is massively exaggerated, once my machine was set up, all I’ve done is remove a few programs like One Drive from loading on start, and it’s been fine.
I do need to figure out how to get rid of the news and weather thingy on the start menu, to be fair.
