I have a rather old office laser from like 20 years ago and it is amazing. No DRM and I buy really cheap ink cartridges. The HP site does sell my cartridge still… For over $200.

The app my work uses to show 401k, pay, request leave, etc details, uses a ridiculous webapp that’s very slow, and on top of this, they nag you literally every 4 months to update your password. I used to be a good boy and memorize a new password each time. Now I just add a new letter into BitWarden and it’s my new password. Apparently this is more secure??
Osmand saved my ass multiple times hiking in very remote locations. Absolutely worth the subscription!
I’m so glad that the launcher I use has a “Recently Installed Apps” button at the bottom of the apps list. It makes it so easy to go through and scrub the bullshit they install on my phone.
7,000 lbs, fucking hell. Who needs such a massive vehicle??
Endeavour is great, I daily it and as a Linux noob it’s been very forgiving. My only annoyance is that I’ve been having some issues with the display where sometimes I’ll wake it up and will only get a black screen and no means of doing anything to fix it. My laptop also really doesn’t like me using any other DEs besides Budgie.
Have my babies, EndeavourOS!
Kind of feels like giving my toddler a loaded gun, but saying that it’s safe because the safety is on.
cups is pain
It’s hilarious because it was FAR easier for me to get printing going on my Linux machine than with W10. It’s an old printer, 1320n from HP, maybe 15 years old, but the damn thing is amazing for document printing, and I had to hunt for drivers and do a lot of compatibility shit to get my computer to recognize it. Arch (EndeavourOS) seemed to just natively recognize the printer and gave me zero fuss. When I was using Ubuntu, I used CUPS and it wasn’t terrible. I liked it better than driver fishing, for sure.
There’s so much misinformation online, sure it could have been a joke but it’s so easy to just be lazy, read the comment straight and move on acting like there’s some kind of operation going on at Apple stealing your nudes. I don’t really care if it’s a joke or not, and you’re not even the OP so who are you to say it’s for a fact a joke?
Not true, it specifically states in the article that, for example, one user had over 300 photos reappear, “some of which were revealing”. This is obviously not great but it isn’t likely as scandalous as it’s being made out to be.
My '14 RAV4 is amazing. Gimme CD player or give me death!
Doesn’t affect me since I’m on EndeavourOS and they discontinued ARM support anyway!
I have brought great shame upon my Lemmy instance …
The ancient Chinese art of Bull-Shitto
Don’t forget cloud services!
I’ve been hearing about record turnout and fears of a Trump landslide, I’ve heard that Trump will fail fantastically and nobody will vote R, it’s almost like all of this polling is basically useless propaganda.
Go out and vote. Ignore the pollsters. They all said that Clinton would win in 16
People who complain about the fact that “emails” is an incorrect plural form, even if it’s incredibly common and accepted, and sometimes language evolves and changes, should be sure that they write it ‘E-mail’, and also don’t forget to capitalize Internet!
