Have the thunderbolt symbol on my HP Laptop.
I’ve built the pc myself.
The newest available even to this day.
Their hardware requirents don’t make sense at all. I’ve built my new PC last summer with the best AMD tech available and I don’t meet the requirements for some reason.
I’ve the newest AMD hardware available and I’m not able to upgrade. No idea what they want.
My PC that I’ve just built last summer is not able to upgrade to W11 despite still having the best AMD components available. How is this going to work out?
Edit: I figured it out. I needed to reset my CPU settings in BIOS. Now my system reaches the requirements.

I recently paid €80 for a 1TB Samsung 990 M.2and €160 for 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 with half the speed. I feel like the prices are great. And I can easily spot the difference in my every day use compared to my 10 year old 5400rpm hdd that costed about the same back than.
Got my gf a 2TB version. She also lost most of her files after 1 month of usage. She uses MacOS. But it’s probably to some degree of personal failure. So not sure if this is relevant.
Dumb question. Why should someone ever buy a HDD nowadays?
