I haven’t tried, but if you’re on linux you could try puddletag. OneTagger is very powerfull too (and cross platform). I also have some extra tools that may help you in this guide I made here (it’s a guide on how to semi-automatically download and tag music, for a windows pc).

I switched to DroidFS from EDS lite (a kinda dead open source alternative) few months ago. It’s soooo nice.

I think it’s the first app that can open a big video without allocating that space in internal storage. Previously, if I had a 1gb encrypted video, apps would decrypt it in internal storage and play it, temporarily taking up an extra gigabyte (this was an issue if I didn’t have enough space).

I’m using gocryptfs because I actually kinda like seeing the file structured, in case I need to delete a folder or file without decrypting the storage, and I can decrypt those files on pc too (I think both windows and linux have an app for this).

Just wanna jump in here and recommend Quodlibet. It handles tags very well.

For some reason, this comment worked, I donated for the first time ever ~5€ to the internet archive (probaly first time donating anything online). Internet archive is probably one of the most important things on the internet.

Btw, there’s olive editor 0.2. It’s kinda unstable, but much better interface than davinci. Plus, it’s open source.

I dont like autocorrect both for privacy reasons (though there might be open source ones) and for accuracy reasons. I dont want something else to write for me what it thinks I want to say. (Hence I’m using a customized keyboard in florisboard beta which looks almost the same as gboard.😌)

Haven’t tried Alovoa, but think of it differently; if someone is on Alovoa, they maybe are more similar-minded to you, because they too probably like open source stuff.

I have linux mint on a random hdd, but I almost never use it. I have to tinker a lot with it. Some day…😅

It might be for me. Or at least sometime. When win10 support will be dropped or whatever I might eventually make Linux my main OS. ~Just a matter of time😅

I think firefox pdf reader is one of the slowest pdf readers.😅

On windows I switched to Okular and on android I use Librera (and sometimes the default stuff on my phone).

Been using it for about 4 months, it’s so good and FAST (without the need of searching words online).

I have the open english wordnet and the greek wiktionary for english to english and whatever-language (mainly english) to greek trasnlations when I’m reading my english books or when I want to check the spelling of a word (I use no auto-correct). :)

(I’m saying this because once upon a time I had cloned discord on my phone by installing the same apk with a letter changed (com.discore) and it thought I was using a 3rd party app or something. They asked for a number, gave me access to my account for about 5mins (good thing I thought of backing up my account and my friend IDs) and banned me. They didn’t mention why, just some default message about spam. I did it again since I didn’t know what I did wrong, another number down the drain. I haven’t checked if they are still blacklisted.)
