Bug: blocked behind endless captchas after being invited to spam groups

I am again suffering from being blocked from using Signal. I use a VPN, like any privacy conscious person does. There is no reason to assume I am a bot, as I already solved the captcha once. But I need to solve a captcha for every new chat I open, which is completely insane. Now I am even caught in a captcha loop without even doing anything. I requested to join some groups, and did so. Then I was invited to other groups, which I blocked and deleted. This results in needing to fill a captcha. ...

Signal has a very messy and invasive Spam detection system. If you are using a VPN you are basically on paranoia mode, needing to solve a Captcha on every new chat.

There is a bug, that when a user is in that mode and joins a group, or even gets invited to a group, it may result in endless Captcha loops.

For some reason this ended for me, but be warned that this may happen, the system is completely intransparent, and doesnt work correctly.

Also, for groups I highly encourage to use a better messenger like Element for Matrix, Conversations for XMPP, Deltachat for EMail.

Also note that SimpleX is worlds better for anonymity and privacy than Signal, but will be completely helpless against spam.
