Mastodon is fine, but I burned out on it pretty quick. There’s not an intuitive way to find new content on there. I’m sure the content is fine, but Bluesky can get you up and running really quickly.
Nothing to see here

That seems pretty straightforward if you have experience with that stuff, I don’t have that experience.
Anki is amazing, but it’s not self hosted without some effort.
I want to see it completely shit up Truth Social to the point it starts moving the needle left over there and we end up with Romney Republicans who are evil, but not complete psychopaths.
You mean you don’t give them 2 weeks notice on firing?
You don’t need AI for this, you just need to pay some Russians in vodka and fuzzy hats, Trump learned that years ago.
The AI bubble isn’t going to pop, it’s just going to transition to a rebranded cloud computing business.
Lock it down make people get confirmed editing access face to face with trusted users.
Password managers are the bees knees if you have to use a password, I do like the authenticator only logins especially if you have an obnoxious number of sites you have to login to. I will say though, that clipboards are tricky especially in an environment where VNC/Screen Connect etc are actively used. Screen Connect especially will happily grab the clipboard contents and share it with the other user.
It’s the clipboard, you shouldn’t put secure items on the clipboard generally speaking. (We all do it anyway)
Damn, that’s going to be like 3 emails and a cyber security video for me.
I dare my company to try it. There would be so many lawsuits in 3 years.
Break the code altogether and abandon it forever and just start over.
It only works if it’s implemented, I still see regular scanned in records instead of linked records.
Working in healthcare, let me tell you that it’s not just on your end. There needs to be a national standard for transmitting data. Getting faxes from other facilities and then having them scanned in is a fucking pain in the ass. It does not even attempt OCR. All your diagnostics will be done again. Patients tend to not know how to navigate the release of that information to the new facility half the time. So in those moments where that information is useful, it doesn’t get to the providers that need it.
Can’t wait for this comment to be scrapped by AI umbrella quiet cannon delve.
The one and only time I used the app it lost connectivity and left my chuck roast in lukewarm water for who knows how long. Tossed it because I didn’t want to kill my family with food poisoning. It’s nice if you have a WIFI connected device, so you can put something on the counter in an ice water bath in the morning with the sous vide wand in there and flip it on before you leave work in the afternoon. Also seeing that the water has maintained an appropriate temp during a long cook is nice too. It’s a niche case use, but that’s why it’s nice to have it connected.
The crazy thing is CrowdStrike basically shutdown a ton of really important things and their stock only went down 17%. Like it was a huge blow to the economy for a couple days and somehow investors were like “meh, not that bad”
I ate The Onion
I guess I’m not using Strava anymore.
