Fun fact: Sharkey, another Fediverse software (Misskey fork) has built-in ListenBrainz integration
Hello! That’s my main mbin account, my alt is @Fitik, I also have a furry/personal account at @fitik
I’m just a regular person from Israel🇮🇱, a queer, and a #Fediverse enthusiast! I’m a liberal
I don’t post much stuff, but when I do I usually post about #tech
Fun fact: Sharkey, another Fediverse software (Misskey fork) has built-in ListenBrainz integration

Oof, that explains why I had a feeling that I read it before
I got this email 5 days ago and nothing since

This one - https://podcast.james.network/@linuxprepper/follow
It says “Seems like the account server does not allow remote follows…”, hmmm
I can follow it from MBin (by following @linuxprepper@podcast.james.network), but the link doesn’t work for me for some reason
Considering my instance has .io domain, I hope not
I’m using Firefox browser, but might try out Zen Browser, it looks pretty promising and it’s non chromium
A shame it’s not on Android tho (Only PC)
Your reply sounds pretty xenophobic, ngl Isn’t it better for Russian people to get access to information that Russian government doesn’t control?
One of the differences is that Gecko written in C++ while Servo is written in Rust
It’s also more optimized and modern
@Linkerbaan@lemmy.world I just want to note that it’s just a sensationalist headline with no proof, and all other articles say something else
Binance has firmly denied the claim that it seized funds from all Palestinian users. The exchange states that only a few accounts were restricted, specifically those linked to illegal activities. Binance stressed its commitment to following international sanctions and regulations, asserting that the restrictions were in line with legal requirements.
But y’all don’t care.
@kambusha@sh.itjust.works Then why does it keep repeating it if I get a tiny detail or a letter wrong?
@technology@lemmy.world @tek@calckey.world @Bonesince1997@lemmy.world
@small44@lemmy.world I never said they did? Just like Neo-Nazis haven’t invented the number 1488
Do you know the definition of the “dog-whistle”?
@lemmee_in@lemm.ee @Cleverdawny@lemm.ee @oakey66@lemmy.world
It’s common for all kinds of bigots to use dog-whistles to avoid being banned
For example this post that got 30k likes says that “Zionists” killed Jesus and more
https://x.com/DrLoupis/status/1785180262181089415?t=50rtTnpLEu0FX3-HEXDWrA&s=19
I think you can understand in what meaning it’s often used
Maybe not always, but it usually is, including by Neo-Nazis and antisemites in general
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionist_Occupation_Government_conspiracy_theory
Slur “Zio” for example was coined by the Neo-Nazi David Duke to refer to Jews
I don’t know if anyone remembers it, but Twitter actually had dislike as experimental feature for some users for some time before Elon, I think like 2 or 3 years ago, I remember having it on one of my accounts
News article from 2021 - https://www.pcmag.com/news/twitter-dislike-button-coming-soon-nope
Actually that’s a golden idea, I haven’t even thought about that, would love to see some software on here implementing a downvote cap, also crushing downvoted comments could be a better way instead of hiding them
Wasn’t it known/confirmed since Twitter made their algorithm partially open source? (I think it was a year ago or so)
