A police investigation is underway after the vehicle of a missing man was found abandoned at a wetlands reserve north of Brisbane.

Mr Orme was last seen on Odense Street, Fitzgibbon on August 11 before leaving in a white 2012 Nissan Navara with Queensland registration 354WAN.

He visited Ironbark Gully in Ferny Hills at 12:40pm on that same day, but has not been seen or heard from since.

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the missing man or his ute between August 13 and August 19, in the greater Brisbane area.
